A small extraction window is specifically created in the donor area, usually located at the back of the head (nape region). In this limited area, the hair is cut short to allow for precise and gentle extraction of the hair follicles. The surrounding longer hair remains uncut and is placed over the extraction area after the procedure, ensuring that it is not visible from the outside.

The hair follicles are obtained individually and in a controlled manner from this extraction window and are then precisely implanted into the previously planned recipient areas. Since only a small area is shaved and this remains covered by the top hair, there are generally no noticeable traces after the treatment.

This technique is especially suitable for patients who value discretion, do not want to stand out in daily life, or only wish to treat smaller areas such as receding hairlines or targeted thickening. The significant advantage is that the external appearance remains largely unchanged and a quick return to social and professional environments is possible.
