As long as there is sufficient nasal cartilage material available, a significantly better stabilization can be achieved in combination with special internal stitches. This procedure is also significantly more advantageous for the patient, as the postoperative period is much less painful. However, sometimes new cartilage must be used. This decision often has to be made during the operation.
