Before the operation, you will undergo a pre-operative examination by the internist at our partner clinic (including blood collection, ECG, and analysis of your health status). The procedure itself usually takes about one to two hours and is almost always performed under general anesthesia. You should plan for a one-night stay at the clinic.
The face will be wrapped with an elastic bandage after the surgery. This prevents the formation of bruises. Bruising and swelling typically occur for one to two weeks.
Without too much physical exertion, you can already resume your normal daily activities just a few days after the procedure. After a total of 6 overnight stays, you may begin your return trip from Turkey. Starting from the second week, you can engage in normal activities again, but you should not perform any physically demanding activities. During this time, no sports activities should be undertaken. Additionally, the scars should not be exposed to sunlight or tanning beds for two to three months.
